I just learned that Cracker Barrel sometimes stocks Calico Critters! The selection is admittedly small.
My husband spotted the Chocolate Bunny figurines, the (singular) grab bag, some washing machines, and a few boxes of the Nursery Friends Rainy Day Duo. Elsewhere in the store were a Red Roof House, cat families, a kitchen set, bunny triplet care sets, and a mouse sibling bath set.
The Calico Critters Nursery Friends Rainy Day Duo gives its owner a marshmallow mouse baby and a panda baby, with articulated limbs, dressed in raincoats with a puddle and their own umbrellas and boots. (I imagine we are going to be playing some spring day scenarios soon.)
I checked the list of Sylvanian Families / Calico Critters that my daughter is interested in and found the Rainy Day Duo with some screenshots of prices. I discovered the price at Cracker Barrel was better than at the other locations I have found:
The Cracker Barrel I visited in New Jersey in April of 2026 had the set for US$16.99, which became US$18.16 after the 6.625% NJ sales tax. There is apparently a free Cracker Barrel rewards program. I might sign up for it if I’m going to buy more Calico Critters from them. Some of the rewards are $5 off $25 and $10 off $50 retail coupons.
Barnes & Noble sold it online only for US$21.99, probably US$23.45 after NJ sales tax. If one pays US$39.99 for an early Barnes and Noble Premium Membership, the Calico Critters do qualify for 10% off.

On the Funbox website in Taiwan, it was TW$750 (~US$25). If the toy were the same price and bought with non-Taiwan passport at a department store, one may be able to get 5% back resulting in an overall price of TW$712.5 (~US$23.75).
Some of the other Calico Critters sets had identical prices to Barnes & Noble, but some were a few US dollars less. I suppose I should check Cracker Barrel for Calico Critters when I visit the restaurants.
